It's his thing but it does seem dated and that accented flow needs to go. He usually releases the banger after these fun joke type songs. "Keys to the City" was apparently a talked about track from a while ago. Not produced by Dre so not sure if the whole album is now. If you listen to the unedited lyrics I wouldn't say borderline Weird Al. He does throw out something to the effect of if you think this is bad then you should hear the rest of the album. Never has there been such finesse and nostalgia. Plus there are a lot of lines that hint that he's really back ready to rip. So maybe he is bringing his game. And Em does have street cred and the respect is there willingly by others in the rap circle or not. He wouldn't release something if he didn't have something to say. His best friend died and rap sucks so I am sure there will be plenty of topics.
Plus the video is funny. The Kim Kardashian actor is sexy as hell when she is singing along the the hook.
