Re: April Fool's GNR
There was one many years ago, that talked about this all being an elaborate scheme and that GN'R had been working on four albums of material with the old band, and in fact Scott Weiland had been happily hired as a front, for Axl to get back together with the old band, and that the new albums would feature both contributions from Izzy Stradlin & Gilby Clarke, as well as Steven Adler & Matt Sorum, and would be called Use Your Disillusion I-IV. I want to say there was also some reference to each album being primarily written by one guy, like Axl's album, Slash's, Duff's & Izzy's.
There were song titles and everything. Sure it reaked of bullcrap, but someone put some time and thought into it to sell it.
