It's a pretty good album man. I sounds more hellride and mafia which is a plus on the harder songs. Overlord, Southern Dissolution, Godspeed Hell Bound, Riders Of The Damned, Black Sunday are good heavy ones. The slower shit is hit or miss, I dig it though.

The Noise Pollution recently conducted an interview with bassist John "J.D." DeServio of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. You can now listen to the chat below.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's new holiday single, "The First Noel", is available for purchase at iTunes.

"The First Noel" (also known as "The First Nowell") is a traditional English Christmas carol, most likely from the 18th century. In its current form it is of Cornish origin, and it was first published in "Christmas Carols Ancient and Modern" (1823) and "Gilbert and Sandys Christmas Carols" (1833), both of which were edited by William B. Sandys and arranged, edited and with extra lyrics written by Davies Gilbert.

The word Nowell comes from the French word Noël meaning "Christmas", from the Latin word natalis ("birth").

As previously reported, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY recently shot a video for the song "Overlord" with directors Eric Zimmerman and Nik Jamgocyan of Master Cylinder. The track comes off the band's new album, "Order Of The Black", which sold around 33,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 4.

Zimmerman and Jamgocyan previously worked with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY on the "Fire It Up" and "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" clips as well as the "Doom Troopin' Live - The European Invasion" DVD.

"Order Of The Black" was released in North America via E1 Music. The CD features four unique covers designed by Zakk Wylde himself — one for each territory: North America, Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand
