That guy sounds ok actually. Even PC sounded not bad considering everyone apart from Axl sounds lame singing it.

I just added a third one "Punchline" to my first post.

Try listening to the other 2 Axlin08 to get a better idea of his voice, PC is always gonna stir up strong emotions in a hardcore GNR fan when someone other than Axl sings it.

I really like Punchline his voice at times almost sounds like Steven Tyler to me.

I did, and i'm even less impressed. I just don't care for it. He sounds like a Sammy Hagar tribute singer, with no power. His voice is very hollow.

At first, I was like, this must be a joke thread: why would they audition that old fart. That was before I realized it wasn't Tony Orlando.

Then, I was like: is that bassist for Great White really still getting gigs?

How many guys in music are named Tony followed by the name of a US city?

Oh, yeah, couldn't listen on my Blackberry.

I guess this means all the "Stone Temple Pilot" tracks they play at gigs now, will be replaced with more "Guns N' Roses" tracks.

I haven't really dug anything I heard there, too generic to me.
