I think there's one major difference, and that is that there is no question of what Brown did and the severity of it.  His fans can see pics of Rihanna with a nose five times its original size.  This guy is fucking disgusting.

The L.A. County D.A. is expected to get the case from cops soon and then decide whether to charge Brown for the alleged beating earlier this month
