but I can safely say just from having a quick listen to a bit of each track that this blows How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb completely out of the water.
White As Snow is one of the best U2 tracks ever.
For the record, there is no Vertigo on this album, although I don't really care.
That has pretty much been my opinion on this record so far. There's no Vertigo on here. But that certainly doesn't matter one bit.
White As Snow is great. I love that one. It'll be nice to see a great album at the top of 2009 sales figures.

I've read tons of commenst at interference.com but it's nice to hear some reviews from non diehards. The album seems to be getin extremely high prasie over at mygnr and so far you guys seem to dig it. I'm pumped.
having said all that I've only heard Get On Your Boots & No Line On the Horizon. My goal is to make it to the release date before listening to this thing in all it's glory. One question I have is how is the quality of the leak? That's one reason I dont' want to listen now is cause I'm worried the quality will be lesser than the actual album. It's so hard not to listen to it right now but on the flip side I've waited 4+ years for this moment so I don't wanna ruin it or taint it in anyway

For what it's worth(not much probably) but Rolling Stone(David Fricke) has given No Line on the Horizon 5 stars and dubbed it a "Masterpiece". Neither All that You Can't Leave Behind or How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb recoved such high prasie. I know reviews don't mean much but is it not significant that an album by a band as mainstreme as U2 got a 5 star rating?

Awesome review. This album is gonna deserve all the praise it gets. Gonna give this album repeated listens tomorrow afternoon when I get home.
You should just give in to temptation and listen to the album.
Maybe we should do a pool for what day I crack or if I make it to March 3rd. $10 buy in and guys draft dates. I swear I'd be honest. Honor code

I say you crack soon, not because of U2 fan's praise for the album, but for the praise being given to it here.
U2 deserves huge credit for this album. They are mainstream, and have obvious hit songs on this album, but it's amazing. There really aren't many mainstream bands that could put out this quality of music and still make hits.
