Agree with the TWAT demo being better. Not a fan of the new demon voice in the background. The '06 demo was not polished enough but I think the '07 and '08 leaks were better than the final version.

This I love - I think it could well be the best thing Axl has ever written.
I'll also give a shoutout to Madagascar, some of the newer songs are trumping it to me now only because I heard Maddy 8 years ago or something so it's less fresh. But it's still incrediable.
I'd love to list almost every song on this album. There's so many masterpieces, so many moments.
I know we can all find politics. Things we'd like to change. People we'd like to add in a song. Something from a demo we liked more. Something we think is overdone. But at the end of the day this is an album full of amazing works of art - and how many of us could write songs anywhere near this powerful. For me that's what it comes down to. Right or wrong on the politics...axl can deliver this kind of album...Anyway...don't want to derail the thread...love a ton of them..but "This I love" was the one that got me into tears on the first listen!

like my least favorite..i dunno if i havea favorite...madagascar seems to have a very string message to me...it speaks to me 
just even for the quotes, its brilliant, i've always thought so...
but there are parts everythere that i think are fantastic
the bass in itw is cool, the intros to blues and catcher are well done, ron's solo in riad, i still love the lyrics in IRS...TWAT is amazing
too early for me to pick one track over another
