Apparently this is no longer being offered as a free download. You wont receive the code, which makes me wonder why it was offered in the first place. Were probably just hoping for a huge jump on the Itunes chart and it wasn't working out like they had hoped.
What a joke. 23rd cant get here soon enough.

Not sure if this is known but if you buy the vinyl version you get a free MP3 album download.
I'm referring to the Best Buy online offer of pre-ordering the album to get this free single.
With how they are handling a song, I expect similar treatment with a free album download.
I'm gonna do a preemptive strike on bullshit and just order it on both cd and vinyl. However, I will be taking five finger discounts on any future bonuses offered.

Yeah my plan from the start was to order one album on CD and another on Vinyl. No shock that shit is fucked up in the GNR world.. Even trying to get out the material is a hassle.

On a side note when is the lat time any of you guys heard Chinese Democracy on radio? It's all but dissapeared from the airwaves here. I think I heard it last Tuesday or something. I listen to the radio all day at work so...... What's up with that?

they stopped playing it on radio all together because Slash isn't on the track....Universal pulled it and won't be releasing the album either until Slash records over the guitars....

In the old ROV days, Bono came up with a conspiracy theory that CD would not be released until the old band came in and re-recorded the guitars and they would embark on a massive tour behind CD with the reunion lineup
To this day I'm not sure whether he was joking or not. But he spent a lot of time defending the theory
