Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
I always figured that If The World was one of the songs Bucket composed while watching porn
Maybe Pitman was watching porn with Bucket then composed it
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
I just noticed Axl whistles in Sorry, is this old news ? I always wanted a new song with whistling.
During the line, "truth is the truth hurts, won't you agree" (3.55) there is a little whistle going on underneath the vocals.
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
Nope its whistling for sure, its a nice little melody but all too brief. Mabye when I get the album and play it on the stereo more whistling will be obvious during the song, but thats all I noticed. Those instant messenger noises are brain damage and you cant really just take in the music as you normally do.
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
Ron's solo is awful. I dont care how technically difficult it may be play, but it sounds like shite. I actually dont mind Rhiad and liked Buckets playing on it, his solo fitting the song perfectly. This cut and paste job with something from Ron's Shacklers Revenge session stands out like a sore thumb.
Drums are great, Axls sounds great but too many oohs and aahs for my liking, they start to wear thin.
It does have great energy though, I cant wait to crank it loud. Possibly the best rocker on the album, I would pick this over Shackler's any day of the week.

I seen this description of Chinese Democracy at Amazon.co.uk:
Product Description
Description
After fifteen long years of speculation, rumours, lies, misinformation and disappointment, the patience of fans of the one-time "most dangerous band in the world" looks set to finally be rewarded with the release of this, their sixth album. Despite frontman and allegedly obsessive mastermind W. AxlRose being the sole remaining founder member, the music sounds much as it did back in the band's glory days - grandiose, massively produced, bluesy hard rock with a decidedly misanthropic vibe
That made me think, this guy has actually heard it!
Misanthropic, thats the word I've been looking for to describe this album.
I wonder if Axl is planning lyrically to release albums charting his suffering, healing and redemption. That would be a such a unique concept.
