Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
Anyway i ain't talkin' about This I Love anymore...
The Blues intro is smth between 2001 version and 2006 -only piano- intro...
Some distorted guitar chords behind Dizzy (2001 version with no drums and solo)
This will satisfy everyone i guess...
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
Yeah I said "wait 'til some better leaks surface"
What I meant to say was, "wait until the dumbass that uploaded them figures out how to download a program that rips audio, and bypass the fucking watermark".
I know 12, 13 year old kids who could've figured that out.
do you think this idiot that uploaded has the full cd?
if he has, how come no other tracks have surfaced?
not unless it was done by 'the management'.

I am fucking in love with This I love. I can't get the song out of my head
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
I cant understand the love and praise for this song - its basically a poor Nov Rain rip off with 5th grade lyrics. Cheesier than a tramps cock.
its not even comparable to Nov. Rain or Estranged...it has nothing in terms of verse and music progression that those songs have, so i don't get the comparisons...
its a song on its own, the reason i like it is because unlike the rest of this album, it doesn't appear to be a over-engineered, over layered and over-produced piece of some studio experiment...
this one sounds like it could belong on UYI records, which should please old school GNR fans....i absolutely love the theatrics of it...it could easily be a part of some big ass stage musical...
my only comment on this is the guitar solo...when compared to other GNR ballads and the solos on those, this one falls flat on its ass...its just not strong enough of a solo to me composition-wise, its played well, but melody wise its weak, it doesn't match the vocals for shit...
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
for those wondering what happened...i moved a couple posts to this thread in the gnr section
Re: (OLD NEWS!)The Limewire Leaks Discussion
I forgot to ask; Any of these songs feature profanities?
Riad.
I agree with Elmir. This I Love doesn't come close to the old ballads. I can see why people like it, but comparing it to the old classics is a bit much. Like they say though, music is subjective.
