This I Love is...interesting. I'll need to hear a clear version. It may have potential once all the static is gone, but for the first 2.5 minutes, I kept asking where are the guitars at.

I believe it was one of the engineers who said it was a simple piano ballad (which it is). James gets confused sometimes.:lol:
Ah, so he meant Howard Karp.
For the record, I think Karp at least half-liked the song (piano-only version).
I wonder if Axl is the pianist on "This I Love".
I have a gut feeling saying he is.

But I was wondering, are any of the three new songs really long?
I'd love to hear a nine or ten minute song.

Sorry and This I Love are around the 5 and a half min mark were Scraped is like 3 and a half mins.
I know for a fact you will personally drool and cry at the same time when you hear This I Love.

not alot of guitar or drums or bass until the end....long Slash like solo. It makes me wish Slash would have played on this song, but it is still very good. I am biased cause I know it was written back when Slash was still in the band. You will dig it either way. It is a pretty sad song. Beautiful orchestral arrangement and nice sublime piano.
