This is exactly why this whole thing is a joke. What is the point if it us telling them to play it? Let whatever is going to happen, happen. Don't influence the vote, if it's good enough to succeed, it will succeed.

I would imagine other artists fans do similar things, it's hardly going to create a warped perception of the new single, and not any more than any other new song.

You're telling me that fans of other bands don't make a few extra calls or send a few extra emails?
I'd be shocked if that were true.
Either way though, I don't see why we can't just let those that want to, do so.

It's a free country. They can do whatever they want. I just think it makes us look really pathetic to be calling/emailing radio stations that are thousands of miles away from our own towns. Then again, we already look pathetic enough for following this clusterfuck for the last decade and a half.
