PaSnow, I believe Cheney's wife's name is Lynn.  I didn't use google in the spirit of your question, but I believe that is right.

^^ It is, and I thought of it only after I typed the question out. But figured I'd leave it to make a point about how it doesn't matter that much if the first wives are or are not effective.

Anyway I thought last night was pretty much another loss for McCain/Palin. I turned on Fox News afterwards to see their viewpoint & Sean Hannity(i think) was alre3ady back to talking about Obama palling around with terrorists. Guess he didn't have much good to say about McCain.

What I don't get about this whole Obama/Terrorist vs Palin/Religious nut thing is how people are even able to compare them or put them in the same league.

I mean, if you look at it objectively, Obama messed up a background check on someone he was meeting with, but Palin was voluntarily blessed by a priest to free her from witchcraft.

The executive summary of that to me reads like "Obama: used to be not so careful about picking people to meet with; Palin: total and utter religious nut job with superstitious beliefs"

Do people here seriously think Obama is secretly a closet terrorist waiting to come out once he's in office??? Do people here seriously believe Palin's beliefs don't impact her conscious thinking????

The problem with that even, is that alot of politicians (both Democrat AND Republican) in Chicago sat on those boards. Also, I heard even Walter Annenberg of the Annenberg Foundation, & I think someone said like a former Reagan advisor or staff member. That's the problem with guilt by association.

Exactly. Palin was responsible for her own actions, but Obama just gets thrown in with terrorists 'cause he can be associated with someone who was part of a national terrorist organisation when Obama was 8 years old and who is now a respectable professor at the University of Illinois. Go figure, the University of Illinois employs a former terrorist... but Obama's a terrorist 'cause his campaign received $200 from Ayers and they were both speakers at an event or two. Only in America.

America's not gonna die no matter who the president is.
