has anyone seen "beyond the mat" there is a long segment in there about jake roberts. if this story interests you then definately rent that documentary.

he's been fucked up for a long long time, its amazing hes not dead to be honest

Yeah I've seen it Neemo. Awesome documentary. Jake's been a  mess for a long, long time.

"Two at a time with toys". That's my favorite quote from Jake in the documentary.

It's sad how he fucked his life and career up. He had a good character when he was in the WWF(E).

Back in 1994 he DDT'd my grandma in the back alley of a liquor store in Chattanooga.

She kicked out at 2 and a half.

Sad to know that during the heyday of wrestling(mid 80's) there was a massive drug problem. Its why so many stars of that era die so young.

Eddie Gilbert
Von Erichs
Dino Bravo
Gino Hernandez
Hercules
Bruiser Brody
Big Bossman
Earthquake
Brian Pilman
Curt Henning
Rick Rude
Chris Adams
Miss Elizabeth
Buzz Sawyer
Davey Boy Smith
Terry Gordy
Bam Bam Bigelow
Hawk
Sherri Martel
Pez Whatley
many more..

like a cocaine holocaust.......and no one said a goddamn thing.

Damn, thats depressing sad I rarely watch wrestling but was an avid fan when younger. These days I usually have a few joints and stick on a classic main event like Royal Rumble 91. Still awesome to this day, and the interviews/storylines were much cooler back in the day 16

edit: I thought Big Bossman was still alive? Gonna have to google that one as I dont recall hearing about his death

Yeah, Bossman had a massive heart attack a few years back. Once in a blue moon I'll watch one of those old school events, and its sad to know that a huge chunk of that roster is dead.
