I'm at the other end of the spectrum from the Super Bowl (The Chiefs...go ahead, I'm used to the laughs!) and it is VERY frustrating because they have been so close to being good in the past. The last couple of years they have been horrendous! "Maybe next year." Interesting season for much of the NFL at least. There's several teams fighting for playoff spots this year.

Birds finally went back to a run-first offense, which is what they're best at.
I never understood why they werent run oriented in the first place. I know Reid is obsessed with the passing game, but Westbrook is the Eagles best player, and I dont think its a secret that the Eagles are MUCH better when the offense flows through him. Look at how well the Eagles played down the stretch in 06 when Garcia was the QB, and they ran Westbrook more.
I'm hoping that Reid doesnt grasp this idea though!:haha:

As long as Herm Edwards is the Chiefs coach...
I bet some major changes happen this offseason for you guys, since the Chiefs GM Peterson is stepping down after the season. A new GM will likely bring his own guys in. Just make sure they get the right guy for that job.

Oh my God! Did that Giants Cowboys game ever kick ass. nevermidn the score which was wicked but that was my first live NFL game and I was blow away. In the endzone, 23 rows up where all three Cowboys TD's were scored. Pricless. Fucking AWESOME!!
Too bad the Cowboys choked against the Steelers otherwise they'd have ended up catching the Giants and winning the divsion. Giants are in tough. I think Carolina is gonna beat them. Boys are in tough too but I think they got the agme againts the Ravens. Eagles in Philly is gonna be nasty though. We'll see. Cowboys need to learn how not to choke. They've become experts at it so.....

I wouldnt be so sure about all that. The Giants are still the most complete team. And the cracks are still there in the Dallas team, even though they may have been masked for a week. If they lose to Baltimore this weekend, they're back to where they were a week ago.

The Cowboys defence has been dominating the last 5 weeks. They were even dominating against the Steelers, it was the offence that choked. The Boys defence just demolished the Giants. There are no cracks on defence. Offence is a question cause they don't seem to always be on the same page but they have the ability to be extremely explosive. I wouldn't be so sure about the Giants being the most complete team right about now either. Back to back division losses against "lesser opponents" and have a pretty damn good opponent in Carolina this week.. Had the Boys not choked against the Steelers they'd be the team to beat in the team to beat in the NFC right now. I agree anything can happen but right now the Cowboys look more impressive than the Giants. Again though anything can happen.

I'll give em credit. The Cowboys defense looked very good. They have really looked better since Phillips took over the play calling. But to be fair, the Giants defense was winning the battle against Dallas' offense for most of the game as well, until Choice scored on that running play in the 4th I believe. That was kinda the nail in the coffin at that point... And any division game is ALWAYS a dog fight, especially in the NFC East. PASnow will tell you that as well. (Well except maybe the Washington games!:haha:)
I'm not making excuses, but the Giants just faced two teams that were desperate and fighting for their playoff lives. Granted the Giants need to play better, but you tend to get teams 'A' game when they are faced with an almost do or die situation.
Giants arent losing this weekend.

Oh my fucking God! What was that at teh end of the Cowboys vs Ravens game. it's like FINALLY the offence got it going and the defence gave a big fuck you to the offence by allowing 2 masses runs to kill any chance of a comeback. That was seriously fucked up. That last run was the longest run by a visiting team ever in the history of Texas Stadium. Way to go out with a bang boys. Fuck that was embarassing. Thank god the eagles and Bucs both lost today. Playoffs start now for the Cowboys. Win against the Eagles next week and they're in. Lose and what a sham of a season it'll be.

I've never been a bigger Eagles fan than I will be next week.
Bills got a very entertaining win (despite an awful first quater with -2 offensive yards) and Edwards looked better than he has since the San Diego game. Fred Jackson is a great player and a great story. Winning cures so many illnesses, and I've regained some self-control since the Jets debacle (very glad to see the Jets lose too haha).
I say keep Jauron, but get a new offensive coordinator - I know it's Schonert's first year but the Bills' talent is too good to be performing so mildly.
