Re: McCain picks Sarah Palin for Vice President
James you gotta stop acting like the media is Obama and that anything that's happened with Palin is that big a deal. You're pretending that the smear tactics have been monumental, increasingly dirty, and based on nothing. They haven't been bad, in fact if you avoided the internet you wouldn't see a single 'smear', just a few negative opinions from talking heads. The attacks aren't growing worse and the polls aren't shifting. When th Republicans do get a surge htis week it'll be because of their convention, not because of anything the Obama camp said about Palin. And Palin does have things that bear mentioning, I would say her 17 year old daughter's baby is a bigger issue than Obama's middle name or the clothes he wears abroad. And her abuse of power firing people she didn't like in Alaska.
The change is in the attitude of government. It's always been there. The change is being hopeful and optimistic about our president. Obama can inspire others, the 70,000 people in Denver proved that once again. And that's a big deal. McCain/Palin may be effective but they don't provide hope, they just make me sit around waiting for more of my freedoms to disappear.

^^ He's from Buffalo. So being in the state of NY he's well aware Politics is tough, and smear or no smear, the media will find out EVERYTHING!! (the girl was in high school, how would word NOT spread about this in the news??)
Anyway, have your seen the Wasilla City Hall she was "Mayor" of?? I've been to 7-11's bigger than that, it looks like my local Town Watch. And Chicago probably has Condominiums that house more people than her town.

Now this is funny coming from an Obama supporter. You do realize the internet played a huge role in the success of his campaign? The internet is a big factor in politics now. Funny how we're supposed to cast it aside when something thats not pro Obama is going on.
I'm not "pretending" anything. Anyone who goes to any political sites knows that I'm right. The attitude among the Obama brigade has changed. What used to be false promises spread everywhere has turned into character assassinations aimed at Palin. You can watch Wolf Blitzer all you want, but it doesn't change this fact.
Avoid the internet? You do realize the majority of americans are online? Too bad the public didn't take your advice about avoiding the net. The Obama candidacy never would have left the launch pad.

Blank check spending programs don't inspire me. Especially while we're trillions in debt.
The image of Obama is better than the reality.

Considering she has more experience than Obama, how is this relevant?
