Re: Soundgarden
Wow. Great to see hes still doing it. I bet Tom and Kim will have a major bitching session about Cornell breaking up their respective bands after the show! . In the perfect world Thayil would be headlining
One more thing. If boots riley and Tom are both there I'm guessing there's gonna be few Streetsweeper tunes thrown in.
Woh woh woh Wait a Minute!!!!! Mark Arm, Thayil and Shepard !!!!! That sounds like a band to me! presume they are going to play at least a few tunes together. I also presume they have an unknown drummer so he didn't get a mention on the poster!!!!!
Looks like one hell of a show Kramer too

Except for Chris, they were all together. Kinda cool.
Re: Soundgarden
Anybody not familiar with Tad Doyle, don't really judge him by how he sounds singing on these. The Tad album "Inhaler" is a really good, fairly unknown album from the grunge era.
Of course I haven't heard him in 15 years, so maybe that's just what he sounds like now.
Re: Soundgarden
We're now one step closer to a reunion. When the two recluses get onstage together to perform Soundgarden songs, its only a matter of time.
While Cornell has never said one will happen, its never been ruled out either. He simply said that no one in the band ever mentioned reuniting.
If they reunite, I'm not even sure they should record a new album. There's just no way in hell they can top their last record.

I think the clearest statement Cornell has made about a reunion was a few years back when he said (something along the lines of) it doesn't feel like it needs to happen right now.
I think if Thayil and Sheppard write more for a new album it could turn out to be quite good.
I would definitely love to see them reunite and tour. Maybe get some credibility back for Cornell.
Re: Soundgarden
This whole Scream thing has to play itself out. Even if these guys are talking to one another again, its not gonna happen now. We're definitely looking at 2010 at the earliest.
I've waited for Chinese Democracy so I can wait for anything. Maybe that lame wait served a purpose after all.

Chris seems to get off with having his fans disagree with his direction. So maybe if everyone says they love Scream and he needs to make another one, and they would hate to see Soundgarden reunite at such a monumental time in Chris' solo career- maybe Soundgarden will get together.
