I find the Skid Row/GNR comparisions interesting.
I found the 200x line-up's playing the old GNR songs appauling as they didn't seem to do justice to the old tracks. By contrast I have seen Baz's solo band several times and found they seemd to peform the SR songs flawlessly....
So for me this would mean i have much less interest in a SR reunion than a GNR.

This will be like the Warrant reunion. They'll think there's a ton of interest and then be shocked when they hear a pin drop.
No way does this band ever tour with GNR. If a reunion happens, there'll most likely be no opening act or if there is, a more current band.
100% agree.
I can't see there being much interest in Skid Row getting back together. Retro might be 'in' right now, but i think SR may be a little too retro. 
That's not saying they dont' have some good tunes though.

Yeah. I think just within the GnR community it is given much more cred than it would deserve, because a lot of us link the two bands for obvious reasons. I don't like Skid Row and I can even get the link.
I don't think it's really "too retro" though, it's just that Skid Row didn't have any more hits than Warrant, and way less hits than Poison. They're all touring playing fairgrounds at best right now. That's about the best Skid Row could hope for. Small theaters or big clubs.

I don't know, I think I would dig this. To me, Skid Row and Tesla were vastly underrated and more true to rock than most during the "hair metal" days. There was less schtick around them than almost all the other bands. They both never ran around in white leather or had to resort to album names like "cherry pie."

Skid Row is definently better than Warrant. I can't fucking stand Warrant. Never understood the appeal of Cherry Pie.

I actually like Uncle Tom's Cabin, and I'd rather be drowned in a toilet than listen to Warrant.
Should download that track Saikin. Its not bad.
I'll give it a listen and see. I can't say i've heard that much Warrant. The songs i have heard kinda made me not want to listen to any others.

Can't believe this is the same band that made those other two songs really. The guitar is pretty damn cool and it's a good song. If it weren't for the other two songs i might actually listen to a Warrant album.
