Cornell would NEVER do it. He would laugh at the offer.
Then he needs an ego check. He is a great singer, but Soundgarden was a smaller time band than GNR, Audioslave was cool but its not like RATM we're not well known....and his solo stuff is going nowhere.

No, it's because Cornell realizes that they are two entirely different types of music. Him in VR would be a bunch of "Big Dumb Sex" songs. Btw, that song was making fun of the sleaze rock that GNR were famous for.
It doesn't matter that GNR were bigger than Soundgarden, that isn't the point. The point is that Cornell isn't in it for the money, he's in it for the music.

I don't think anyone has said or implied that, but as an American I'm only really familiar with American artists and singers.
I've always liked American rock though. British rock, despite its influence on American, doesn't touch me the same way, for whatever reason. And Mano Negra blows, despite what my French textbooks keep trying to tell me.

la mano are cool, but see, they are not alone, we have talent in france.
And germany has amazing rockers btw.
And now the borders have opened, you 'll find great talent in all countries boarding russia, italy, greece, ect ect ( serbia, croatia, ect ect)
