Obama has just been declared the winner in Wisconsin. He leads by 13 points. McCain has been declared the winner on the republican side.

He's also been declared the winner of Hawaii, with a 700% increase in turnout over 2004 and just over 50% reporting back.

Hillary is done. For good. No way she can be a viable candidate with Obama winning double the number of states as her, winning most races 60 percent to 40 percent and with him winning 10 straight and leading the latest Texas poll and closing quick in Ohio.

It's over. Obama vs. McCain. McCain has no chance. Obama is the next president, like it or not.

Yuck.

But I do think McCain has a chance.   Even Obama's kool-aid drinkers can name his legislative accomplishments.

Haha, I actually saw that live. You could tell the guy was pissed and caught off-guard. I'm surprised he wasn't pre-screened for a question like that (at least something like what's Obama's best accomplishment).

Regardless, I still think Obama would take it & run with it. McCain's a poor public speaker. Even John Kerry was closer to Bush than McCain. Kerry probably would have won if people didn't fall for that stupid 'he's a flip-flopper' label Bush & Rove hung onto for months.

As for attacks, Hillary's been launching some herself & it hasn't worked. It's not that Hillary is running a bad campaign, it's that Obama takes the high road, addresses the attack, and moves forward, leaving his opponent behind with very little.

I'll wait for Texas and Ohio before I declare Hillary done, but Obama is firmly ahead at this point. I think Obama has the upper hand against McCain, but a lot of it will depend on how many people actually vote. The higher the numbers, the better for Obama.

so there is still time...if Clinton wins both Texas and Ohio then shes right back in it

The problem is, even if Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, she will only win by a slim margin which means they could nearly split the delegates and Hillary wouldn't gain on Obama. She needs to win Texas and Ohio HUGE, and she just can't. It won't happen. It's over. Tonight's debate could seal it. Unless she forces Obama to screw up, this is her last chance.
