No one is going to prevent a recession. We're in one and its just started. I don't think I ever stated Hillary or Obama would prevent one. The country is gonna have to ride this out and see what happens. If the dems want to create a social program as big as the Andromeda galaxy but can find a way to pay for it, they have my seal of approval. Its certainly an improvement over spending trillions that have to be borrowed and pulled out of a magic hat.

People have been yelling recession for over a year now and it still hasn't happened. Unemployment is at record lows. America could strengthen the dollar simply by calling in the billions in loans it has given to the rest of the world.
Everything will be fine and the "economy" will balance out regardless if Clinyon, Obama, McCain or James is elected. Contrary to popular belief, the market will take care of itself and isn't controlled by who is in office. It's cyclical and this won't be the last time people yell the sky is falling.
It's those loans that are preventing the dollar from collapsing completely. 70% of all dollars are located abroad. What do you think would happen to the value if that came back?
If it were a free market there wouldn't be recessions. It's the FED that controls the economy, and it's them that are the most responsible for the current situation.
