I laughed at this...they know a segment of the fan base will buy multiple copies of this for obvious reasons.
It's an instant buy for me. I know I said I wasn't buying Perhaps after the jukebox fiasco but The General makes it a game changer.
I bet they set it to ‘honor system.’

Demo never leaked, we do have a mix done by evader as to how he thinks the song is constructed based off the small audio recording we got from 2010

I think he's trying to be funny - like quoting lyrics from perhaps and the general in his answer.
Yep...but we're way past funny with him at this point.
If they want funny use of lyrics...hire darknemus.
He could actually use the release of The General as a clean slate with hardcores and eventually get them on his side as the next release nears.
Unlikely of course.
The General is a monster.

You're right about Prostitute. That was a crazy time...but this is different. We're rounding third and headed for home...let hardcores imagine that box under the tree really is a Red Ryder BB gun.

Look what happened with Absurd/Hard School....wound up having to literally give them away.
They don't want a repeat of that.
So i confess my knowledge of records is slim (i grew up with cassette's and CD's) but if this is right...
7" Records (often referred to as 45's) can be cut at 45 RPM or 33 1/3 RPM. When cut at 33 1/3 you can hold approximately 6:00 minutes per side. When cut at 45 you can hold approximately 4:30 minutes per side. These numbers are not set in stone, just a suggested maximum. Nothing could live up to that level of hype.
They definitely went overboard on that in the 2000s.
We also need to take this into consideration....
The General has not been hyped in literally 16 years.
It was one of the early signs... along with the hiring of Ashba...when I realized that CD II was being abandoned.
