Yes, his presidency would have been completely different if he had a filter and wasn’t such a baby. He enjoyed fighting with the media. He treated his presidency the same way he did a Stern show appearance.
The frustrating thing about Trump is that he *could* be that guy his followers think he is. I mean, he actually backed gun control (no fly, no buy) and the hardcore base didn’t leave him. He wanted a healthcare system more like Australia and he wasn’t called a socialist. He isn’t close to being an actual conservative, he’s the closest thing to an independent we’ve ever had in the WH and he ruined it.

Requires further study obviously. I hate how anytime this telescope finds something, they have to immediately move on to the next because there's a mile long list of things it has to do.

If things have calmed down during the Biden administration it is because the news and various entertainment industries have dialed back on agitating the populace... during the Trump admin the news had people truly believing WW3 was imminent with Iran after Soleimani was killed, that a nuclear confrontation with North Korea was imminent due to tweets, that Trump was a Russian agent about to unleash a fascist dictatorship. I'm sure there are a bunch of other ones that are long forgotten now. The public was bombarded with scandal after scandal of life or death proportions... of course they wanted "normalcy." But what do you know, in the end... no new wars, Trump was not a Russian agent, didn't declare a dictatorship... and nothing happened.

This is what I hated about the Trump years. Not Trump himself...but how the media turned this country into a Trump reality show for 4 years.
You could not escape it.
The whole thing was obscene.
ID brings up a good point...Trump fed off of it and it inflated his ego. He really had the chance to shake things up but allowed for that nightmare to take shape.
I better buckle up because he's probably our next president.

See my problem with Trump, is aside from the fact that he is corrupt as hell, is that he isn't smart enough to implement these policies. I mean he's just not there on a basic intelligence level. No, you don't have to be a genius or policy wonk but you do have to have a baseline of intelligence which I don't think he has.

It’s easy to say he’s not smart, but you don’t circumvent an entire political system and become president by being an idiot. The problem with Trump is his vanity and fragile ego and that he had a shit cabinet. A president is basically a GM who hires a coaching staff and players etc. And he blew that — in his defense, if more people wanted to help him instead of writing books and getting CNN appearances goofing on him maybe it would have helped? But every issue and mistake was his own dumb fault

Thank god "the adults are in charge" again. Can you remember just 4 years ago when there wasn't a war in both Europe and the Middle East. Things are just so much better now, and I'm sure the wars in Ukraine and Israel will be "mostly peaceful".

I felt a connection to Israel and it wasn't until a couple of years ago.
That I did my DNA test and my maternal side which is from Great Britain, and Ireland, I found out my Ashkenazi Jewish DNA.
So hopefully a lot of left wing folks don't stay silent on this.
Because they will be crying, when Israel rightfully goes into Gaza.
