Re: 2023 Tour Dates
New shows have been added between the one on the 16th of October and the final one on the 5th of November
this makes me a bit more convinced we will hear The General live

Re: 2023 Tour Dates
Yes or it also gives credibility to the "Atlas in November" rumour....like that didn't really make sense if the tour was over, but if there's plans to extend further then it's more possible.

Holy crap, that came out of nowhere.
Monkey, you are right: It makes releasing “Atlas” much more plausible.
If they add an L.A. show at the end, it may signal that they really are stepping away for a while.

Re: 2023 Tour Dates
I would imagine this makes it more likely that the show they missed will be rescheduled sooner rather than later.
Even though they have added more shows, they still fall before the one on the 5th of November & that's the one that was advertised as the last show for a long time.
I see that as a good thing as it doesn't imply endless touring, it indicates they may be sticking to some sort of plan maybe.
Does anyone know if this festival they are doing is a forced proshot situation? Glasto is for headliners but one they played a month or so before hand wasn't.

Re: 2023 Tour Dates
It would be cool if the plan was release General/Atlas/StateofGrace, finish up this tour.
Take next year off to work on a new album with Slash/Duff.
Restart tour things in 2025 with fresh new material, late 2025 or early 2026 new album drops.
That's my dream, but it's GNR, so I bought some whisky to drink incase I end up listening to Hardschool for 15 years.

Re: 2023 Tour Dates
Y'know, it still baffles me that we've heard Slash playing Madagascar and Prostitute, and Silkworms ffs, but they've left CD tracks like Riad and I.R.S. on the shelf, when you'd think they'd be much more to his taste.

Interesting.
Is it really possible we're getting some sort of album in the fall?!?
If so, it's a weird way to do it. In fact, it's ass backwards. The album should've already been announced and then the single releases start trickling out.
If it really happens...mind blown. They must have decided to finally put an end to the CD saga. I figured they were doing that with The General anyways. Getting a handful of other songs would be best case scenario for us.
I can't picture a full length album. Maybe an EP or their Hell Freezes Over...new songs with live included.
