A very big deal in the UK
Perfect time to unleash the album!
This band squanders all perfect opportunities.
And there probably isn’t an album anyway

Annoyingly they're playing at the same time as Lana Del Rey, who I've been wanting to see live for ages. Still though, I'm not a fan of festivals so I'll probably pass on this one, since I'm seeing GN'R like three days later in London.

There is an album there….just not with Slash and Duff on it
Or is there?
Maybe they can package up a few new covers for a "The Spaghetti Incident?" 30th anniversary box set in 2025

That probably will happen, along with a punk-covers-motherfucker-theme tour. Just like this one will be UYI themed, they'll probably play some songs they haven't played since '93 (or maybe at all), perhaps there will be a single and then they'll go into hibernation again...
Re: 2023 Tour Dates
Guns N' Roses is being run like the Soviet Union under Stalin. Everybody scared to death of upsetting the despot and nobody takes any initiative to avoid incurring his wrath. But at least Stalin was interested in ruling. Axl isn't. He just wants to be the guy in charge. He's like Honorius or Commodus, doing anything but the things he's supposed to be doing.
As I mentioned in the Floyd thread....
Axl/GNR's situation is eerily similar to what happened with Pink Floyd in the mid 80s-late 90s. It's actually worse.
Just like Gilmour.....Axl liked the idea of owning GNR and running all aspects of it. The problem is that he ran into similar issues as Gilmour....
An Axl GNR only looks good on paper. He simply doesn't have the drive, ambition, talent, etc to actually do anything productive with it. The only thing he brings to the table is the iconic voice, shitty management, and satisfying the nostalgic itch from casual fans.
