So the show in São Paulo happenned yesterday.
Gotta say I was impressed by Axl's trying giving it all. However, he has some ups and downs and his voice was cracking often. Out of all my GNR concerts, this rates as the worse but it wasn't as bad as Rio 2022.
The show could be trimmed to a 2 hour GREAT rock concert, instead it's a 3 hour average show because it drags for too long.
It's easy to see that the band is just going through the motions and that's kinda sad.

Yeah...the set absolutely needs to be trimmed of ALL fat. I've recommended this since the concert I went to in 2017.
It's too fucking long...and nobody but 10-20 hardcores in attendance would complain about a condensed set.

You could probably dump out the CD tracks plus most of the GNR Lies stuff except for Patience. I personally don't care for Live and Let Die but that one is popular. Don't mind if they rotate one of the epic deep cuts though (Coma, Estranged, Civil War etc).

My view is the following are absolute must plays. The ones where if someone was going to a GN'R show and it was their first one and they didn't get these, they'd be rightly pissed off.

After that... pick anything. A few well other well known ones, new tracks and some deep cuts. Honestly, they should just lock in the nine songs listed above and then rotate the entire rest of the set every tour cycle to keep the shows fresh. This has been the same basic core set since 2016.
Making ISE, Brownstone, CD, Better, DTJ, Estranged, RQ, Civil War and Nightrain rotational would freshen up these sets a lot. If they ever shorten their shows they'll have to consider it.

Too many hard cores love Estranged…no way you take that one out….KOHD is where the time is wasted
KOHD is almost up there in the main category with Jungle, SCOM, PC, and NR. You could actually make a case to include it.
It's that popular.
After 1989-90 I never cared for it but it has to stay.
It's not even a Dylan song anymore...it's GNR.
LALD is in this category too although it's more likely to be dropped than KOHD.
Estranged should be an alternate. It isn't necessary with NR in the set.
