You are complicit because you either don't believe Trump should be convicted or impeachment trials are a joke. Has any impeachment been more well argued? Has any impeachment trials had more evidence of a pattern of behavior.

If you think we need to forgive and forget and wait for Trump to rear his ugly head again, you are complicit in the continuation of this behavior. btw...when I use 'you' I'm using it in the formal/plural sense. I'm not trying to single you out.

Nothing I did resulted in anyone's death. Nothing I did resulted in anyone getting hurt...yet you lecture me on this board about behaving like an adult because of the words I use to advocate for my side.

I merely matched the president's tone.

You have no idea what complicit means. And in your hysterics, you decided to act like a child. No one here outside SG liked or supported him, yet you decided to act like a jerk and used him as an excuse to justify your five-year-old tantrums to anyone who dare disagreed with you. You're just like him, you helped create a toxic atmosphere here and you take no responsibility for it. Your excuse: well the president acts bad, why can't I?

Had they impeached him for dereliction of duty, they'd have had an argument. They had the opportunity to call witnesses, they didnt. They accused him of doing EXACTLY what they did themselves.

I do know what complicit means...it means when you could do something or take a stance and you choose not to because you're either afraid or you have your own agenda.

^^ that makes zero sense. My power is my vote, and no Trump will ever get it. My stance is calling him out as a fraud and an idiot. I can't send him to bed without dinner. And his awfulness doesn't excuse the media or democrats bullshit.

Wtf did I just read.

I'm all for trying new ways to do education that might get kids more engaged with the subject, so from that point of view having them do TikTok videos or whatever for something like Mathematics is a little weird but hell could make a subject many find dull a bit more entertaining. So from that point of view fine, whatever.

But wtf, nothing about "showing working" is about white supremacy.

Writing out the steps you take to solve a problem is a fundamental skill and is needed to assess a student's understanding of the mathematical concepts being tested. Also doing it repeatedly helps reinforces one's understanding of the subject material, it's a solid way to learn.

It also isn't just about assessing understanding and comprehension! It's needed when anyone takes mathematics further and has to start learning to do proofs etc.

BEYOND all of that... it doesn't even explain how this relates to white supremacy! It just says it is and then talks about paternalism. It's also wrong, writing out working in long form does help in learning how these mathematical proccesses work.

Fuck who ever wrote that shit. Seriously.... is that real?

Like fuck sake.

Educators and education specialists can and should have conversations about how certain subjects are taught, so sure discuss whether there are more effective ways to teach maths, possibly with less written assessment etc. But wtf does that shit have to do with racism.

The irony here is that they're saying kids of color aren't capable of doing the same work white kids can, which is pretty racist.

I understood....in 1993.

In Missouri back then I watched his TV show.   It was a 30 minute show...Him in a room at a desk with a small audience. He was actually pretty funny... mainly bitching about Clinton.

After a few months or so, I got fed up with it and moved on.

Fast forward a few years, he's huge and as the years went on got crazier and crazier.

I think part of it was him embracing his popularity and going all in on his character (like Alex Jones), part of it was his pill addiction spiraling out of control.

I remember that show. Everyone I know whoever met him, and this goes for Hannity, too, is that they always talked about how it was all an act and entertainment. There was a fight between left Twitter and right Twitter yesterday because.... Of course, there were a lot of burn in hell tweets. So right Twitter called out Howard Stern, who's turned some now, and they were honestly trying to say Howard wasn't as bad. I was a huge Stern can and he was fucking HORRIBLE. No one could ever come close to how mean he could be. It's not even close.

I loved Stern back in the mid 90s but I got him in small doses....the E show and reading his two books. Never heard the radio show and I doubt Missouri even had it. I didn't get it in CA central valley when we moved back either.

His was definitely an act. You could tell on the E show. When he'd go to a radio commercial, they'd sometimes show them still sitting there. He goes out of character and is much more reserved. When they're back on air, he goes back into character.

During my cancer scare a few years ago, one of the things I would marathon was some of those old Howard E shows. Great stuff. The Beetlejuice stuff was amazing. So was Gary the Retard. I liked that Kenny/Kenneth guy but only saw him a few times.

Howard's show on 9/11 is incredible. The whole broadcast is on YouTube. Check it out sometime.
