Re: Current Events Thread
Logically, any ballot that arrives today in those states should be counted, as they were obviously mailed yesterday (Election Day). They should still be set aside, in case its a court issue, but realistically they probably should easily count. Those received Thursday & Friday are debateable, but the amount are probably very inconsequential.

Now on Grant Street. Leaders of this small splinter group are holding a banner reading “Don’t vote. Fight for revolution.” One protester just spray-painted the City-County building. https://t.co/G0XnZpBI3H

This is what happens when we allow vandalism and destruction of public property to be celebrated. The antifa types aren’t going away now that Trump is gone. They defaced the congressional offices of the Democratic candidate earlier in the week.
Re: Current Events Thread
Counting is bizzare as an outsider. I can get late mail ballots, but the process itself seems so slow.
I'd have expected lots of people in a big community centre or sports hall counting votes throughout the night, not 15 people in a small room.
Re: Current Events Thread
Each state has their own system. Some states just decide to stop counting for the day just because, others don't stop until there's a winner. It's absurd. As much grief as Florida gets, they get it done quick.

Their new "demand" is now dismantling/abolishing the United States.

Idiotic to have the mail in vote deadline the same as the in person dead line. All votes should have to be in by 8 pm on Election Day. The mail people had all summer to vote. They should have made the mail in dead line minimum 2 days prior to Election Day or even better a week.

Arizona getting closer. Fox News is gonna have some explaining to do if Trump pulls it out. That would be something. It looks like he might fall just a hair short. Possible true recount territory.
It is getting close. There was no need to call it so soon and leave NC uncalled.

Then why did the administration fuck so much with the postal service? You’d have a point if it weren’t for the obvious post office meddling.

I thought they determined that was fake news.

I’m sure Trump called it fake...
