Very true!!!....you got me there. Fantasyland world has Bucket inserted on the 2000 rough mixes versions.

nothing on the album is better than the rough cuts or early demos.
the more Axl worked on the songs the worse than got
the album would have been a million times better if it was the 2001/02 version
Also the stuff I want to hear is the stuff that BH did before he was removed to add Finck back on some of the songs.
As well as a vocal version of all those instrumentals.

It wouldn't work.
The guitar would drown out the main chorus.
I really wish "Sorry" had an alternative cut with better lyrics ala "Don't Cry (alt)".

This is why I will never bother listening to a fan edit of including the vocals on the demo.
The instrumental has a chilling doom and gloom, existential vibe to it.
It deserved so much more than being a song aimed at Slash and other "enemies".
I wish Bucket or someone had stood up to him and said that the lyrics aren't acceptable.

It’s harder to live with the truth about you, than to live with the lies about me’ is absolute gold.
One of his best lines ever.
I kinda disagree with this. I think what makes Axl a great songwriter is how personal he is, and we know his hatred of Slash was a major obsession of his for almost two decades. I would rather he write about what he's feeling than try to write something more substantive if he's not into it. Sorry might come off as petty but he's pouring his emotions out there.

or ill kick your ass like I said

some of the lyrics are good but at least 50% could be better.
BHs great guitar work was wasted.

I am not sure even if he sang that line normally it would come off well.

Agreed here. Such a great bluesy solo. I always thought the forever and a day line in prostitute was cringe too.
