McCain has lead against the Democrats since day one. He also has lead the Republican national polls for some time. Nothing is for certain, but you're deluding yourself if you thing Hillary Clinton is gonna dominate the election. McCain will pull more moderates and independents than she could imagine.
I never said she would "dominate" it. Hell, I hate the bitch and am pretty much about to be forced to vote for her.
I think this will be a major attack against him once he goes head to head against Hillary. Fortunately, he'll be able to trump her on any national security measures. It's going to be a tight race, no doubt, but Democrats are more scared of McCain than any other Republican candidate.
Like the Clinton camp reminded the war hungry in 92.....
It's the economy, stupid.
No one gives a flying fuck about McCain's wish to be in Iraq for a hundred years. If you think thats gonna win an election, you are in for a major reality check in November.
People are concerned with the economy going down the tubes after 8 years of Bush and a collapsing dollar. They aren't interested in praying that their great grandchildren get to fight the Bush/McCain war in Iraq.
McCain(and his followers) are just as deluded as Daddy Bush and his followers were in 92. Since you have a poll fetish, go check Daddy Bush's poll numbers a year before Clinton kicked his ass to the curb.

Obama has closed the gap nationally to near the margin of error. Edwards dropping out has greaty helped him, not Hilary. Edwards will not endorse anyone yet, hell Obama name-dropped Edwards in his opening tonight to the debate on CNN. His poll numbers are going up, Hilary's is going down. With still a few days to go until Tuesday, I imagine he'll gain on Hilary even more. Last week I thought Hilary would stomp Obama, but Edwards dropping out gave him a boost, and announcing he raised $32M in January, more than any other candidate, gives the perception that he is the top dog. And we all know perception is often reality.
