Deutsche Bank Was Asked for Information on Transactions Potentially Linked to Michael Flynn
It's gonna go down.
Isn’t this news we learned about last week?
Re: US Politics Thread
Wow, even Adam Schiff on twitter posted a thread how he too things the GOP might shut down the investigation. Where there's smoke there's fire.
I’m increasingly worried Republicans will shut down the House Intelligence Committee investigation at the end of the month.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
Here’s why:
Since March, our investigation has made important progress. We’ve interviewed numerous key witnesses behind closed doors, held public hearings, reviewed thousands of documents, identified new leads — all to understand and expose Russia's meddling and protect our democracy.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
Yet, Republicans have scheduled no witnesses after next Friday and none in 2017. We have dozens of outstanding witnesses on key aspects of our investigation that they refuse to contact and many document requests they continue to sit on.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
It appears Republicans want to conduct just enough interviews to give the impression of a serious investigation.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
Next week, they scheduled critical witness interviews out of state, when we are voting on the tax bill and vital government funding bills and no Members will be able to ask questions, in an effort to squeeze them in before end of year.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
These witnesses are willing to come to DC.
Despite our repeated urging, Majority has declined to issue subpoenas in numerous avenues of the investigation, where there's simply no other way to get the information. Some refusals we’ve made public, like witnesses hiding behind nonexistent privileges, many others we haven’t.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
The responsibility to conduct a thorough investigation, or to prevent one, ultimately falls on @SpeakerRyan. I’m concerned he's heeding the calls of Bannon and @POTUS to “DO SOMETHING” by closing down the Russia investigation & opening up another investigation of Hilary Clinton.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
Beyond our investigation, here’s what has me really concerned: The attacks on Mueller, DOJ and FBI this week make it clear they plan to go after Mueller’s investigation.
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) December 15, 2017
Aggressively and soon.
By shutting down the congressional investigations when they continue to discover new and important evidence, the White House can exert tremendous pressure to end or curtail Mueller’s investigation or cast doubt on it. We cannot let that happen.

I think this is more definitive. Previously it was unsubstatiated and Trumps lawyers denied it. Seems like no denying it at this point.

Mueller is a good man from all reports but he has fucked up many ways this investigation. The main way is leaks and hiding info about the guy that hated trump. So now so many people doubt the whole fucking investigation. It is a shame.

Correct, it wasn't as specific last week, and as you said...denied by Trump's lawyers. Mueller is getting too close, that's why they want to shut it all down. Criminal really. Just criminal. If you believe in the rule of law, then allow the investigation to continue. They had a dozen on Hillary at least, yet can't seem to see much of a reason here. This shouldn't be a partisan thing anymore. If you care about your country at all...
Re: US Politics Thread
^ fair point. I'm confused on the people who are "for" the net neutrality decision. I get a kick out of it. No one here I don't think, but I've seen on FB & Twitter people who are blindly saying its a good thing, gets the government out of it, and claiming Obama added un-needed regulations and government control to the internet. Which is essentially the complete opposite of what it was.
I'm pretty indifferent on it tbh. The bigger issue is the lack of competition in the ISP space. Fix that and net neutrality is a non-issue. That's how it should be resolved.

You cannot claim anything shouldn't be partisan...you're as partisan as they come. If you cared about this country at all, you'd have to delete 3/4 of your posts in this thread that are filled with complete nonsense.
