Re: US Politics Thread
I've personally been trying to rally some dem leaders to start a Centrist Democratic Council. The Bernie wing has just enough pull to cause mass destruction. Perez is a failure. I thought he'd better than this, but when he brought in Ellison he fucked the whole thing. It's like having Capitalist win, but they bring in socialists anyway to come in and help rule under the guise of unity. Do you really think people who are completely and diametrically opposed can work together? The NON democrat Bernie bros want that structure, power and money. It's exactly why the NON Democrat Bernie ran as a Democrat. They should have sabotaged his slimey ass, he's not a Democrat but taking advantage of all the influence, money and structure. It's a clusterfuck. Fuck them. Not to mention that wing is flaky as fuck and never, ever show up when they're needed.
There needs to be a Democratic centrist counsel to just bypass the DNC completely and take all the corporate funding with them.
It's all coming apart now. Holy crap.
Sessions discussed Trump campaign-related matters with Russian ambassador, U.S. intelligence intercepts show
I honestly never saw it going this far with Sessions.

Last night before bed I saw where Trump supposedly is looking into whether or not he can pardon himself. Crazy shit.
Isn't this a somewhat similar environment to which Trump was created? Why do these people think the tail can wag the dog?
I believe that what the DNC did during the 2016 primaries was almost unforgivable. If they aren't listening to their donors...who are they listening to?
Its creating an environment for someone else to rise up out of the chaos.
When both sides are neck deep in corruption...who are the voters going to rally behind?

For or Against Trump personally and republican or democrat...the idea that a sitting president could pardon himself seems absurd to me...regardless of who else is in office.

I agree. I'm not sure I can see a reason it should be accepted or used. Really they said if he did it, or pardoned his son or Ivanka's hubby etc, he'd likely just have impeachment charges brought, and be impeached. He can't stop that.
Re: US Politics Thread
Pretty funny this Scaramucci's old tweets he's deleting. Yeah, he's prepared for this media firestorm lol. Doesn't think a bunch of rando's on Twitter are going to go back years to check his old tweets. So far I've seen posts about how 'this is absurd we need gun control', to about how Hillary's great & definitely should run in 2016.
I'm curious to see how he handles the Presidents communications. I have a feeling he's going to go nuclear, and do something extremely drastic. Either ditching Presser (if they can, not sure if the WH is legally bound to or mandated to) to launching an online FB live show where they have no reporters and no questions, and only talk about what they want to talk about, agenda's etc, and ignore the whole Russia thing altogether. He was on FNS with Chris Wallace and hinted he might consider something along those lines, as if 'everythings on the table'.

He can't. If he tries, or if he fires the new lead investigator, he'll be impeached. The President has crazy immunity and power, but if he's under impeachment he's powerless from interfering with an investigation.

That's when you know this administration doesn't stand for anything. The hire people to do a job and do not care what stances or beliefs he made public.
He's changed his opinions for power and money.
Fuck Trump and his immoral, unethical circus of glad handers.

I was invited to see Trump speak to a group of veterans. Seated 2 rows back. Now the waiting game begins
