Thats bizarre. Only thing I can see is from his wikipedia page:
In 1993, Mueller became a partner at Boston's Hale and Dorr, specializing in white-collar crime litigation.[11] He returned to public service in 1995 as senior litigator in the homicide section of the District of Columbia United States Attorney's Office. In 1998, Mueller was named U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California and held that position until 2001.
Either the 'white collar crime' litigation years, or maybe Northern District of CA.

This is a turning point. Although the reports say he's been under investigation since Comey was fired. But now with it being public, people are going to want to save their own ass.
Pence has lawyered up.
I also believe Sessions set himself up for an obstruction charge as well.
