Hypocrisy
Why did Republicans bitch about Obama's use of EOs. Their actual argument, not what the asshats at Salon.com had to say? It was because they were a broad overreach of his authority, like giving legal status to millions of people. Trump is reversing EOs Obama enacted. Your city will play ball soon enough when they lose money and the citizens demand the illegals get kicked out and Emmanuel worries about actual citizens who are paying income taxes.
He did that because Republicans had no intention of working with him on that issue or any other for that matter.
Re: US Politics Thread
I guess my main problem with it too isn't that we're building a wall, but moreso that he said "We will build a wall and lemme tell you something else. I'm gonna make Mexico pay for it also!" during the debates and his supporters went nuts over such an idiotic comment. They ate it up.

The Mexican President is pretty impressive. Not taking any shit from Drumpf.
What is impressive? The Peso dropped over a % while the Dollar remained steady and the Dow stayed great. The markets didn't give a shit. That should tell you what everyone knows. The US will not be weakend by this, in fact it'll be the opposite.
He's already unpopular and their economy immediately gets threatened? He had to talk to Trump. Pride wasn't an option. Now that he's learned his place and his ministers and anyone with a brain in Mexico has taken note, Trump can give him a bone to spin success to his people. America is the top dog. End of story. Any country that wants to continue to do well and grow will ally with our interests. Notice how the Canadians have stayed quiet? They know who to back. They've got just as much to lose as Mexico.
Trump's going to setup a new trade deal with the UK. Fuck waiting 2 years. What will the EU do? Germany and France won't stop it. In fact, I bet within 5-10 years, both of them will be joining a trade agreement with the US too.
Why include the useless countries like Greece when they can improve relations and gain better access to the US market. The west only needs the rest of the world to trade with us. We don't need to let their people come storming into our countries if they're not bringing anything to the table. Rather than brain drain these other countries, we should let businesses invest and build them up. Have you taken notice of what China is doing in Africa? That's what we should be doing in the Middle East and Asia, sending in businesses to build them into the 21st century and take a cut of their profits.
If we turn the rest of the world into the West, they'll want to avoid war and conflict in their homes as much as we do. A hell of a lot harder to die for Allah when you have an air conditioned home and internet access.

Dude, c'mon. They said that back in 2004. It ain't gonna go down like that. People said it was about "Weapons of Mass Destruction" then it was about "Spreading Democracy" then it was about "Beating Al Qaeda". It was an endless loop of things which never became true.

America is the top dog.
You really need to believe this don't you?
You should write and create propaganda....

Or they just get more and more angry that the US continues to fuck with their shit...and create ISIS....that happens too

Bush didn't invade Iraq for oil or business. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan and tell me who got the oil and what busineses did we build?
I'm talking about starting in Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia. Largely stable countries that could benefit from western infrastructure and jobs. It's not going to happen over night, but you build them up to show it's enticing. Then other governments take steps to secure their countries. How many people did we butcher in our own civil war to get the nation under one vision. How many died in WW2 to unite the West? If people want to war and die for imaginary gods, give them their wish and secure the area. The people who like a life of running water and indoor plumbing will out those who create trouble, just as we do.
For years we've been told "you can't do that! It's not fair or it violates some international law no one can enforce." Trump is saying fuck all that. We're in charge, we'll ignore or change the rules rather than handicap ourselves and people. Why do you think he put a real world financial expert in charge of the treasury? Why do you think he put the former CEO of the worlds biggest company in charge of State? Why do you think he put the ultimate General in charge of Defense? Notice a pattern? He's going to build trade relationships that financially benefit us without all the bureaucracy of 20th century mindset. And he's going to have a general who knows how to fight wars in the 21st century leading out security and defense. This is where we're headed.
Trump told you from day one he was just going to do it. I didn't believe it either because no one has been able to move forward like this. Even Reagan and Kennedy got mired in the red tape. Trump is just saying fuck all of that.

Drone on all you want, he told him to step off. Dude is a hero in his country today. Showed what a bumbling tool Trump is who had to lie, again, and act like he canceled the meeting, or it was a mutual decision. Mexico isn't paying for shit and there will be no tarrifs or boarder taxes. Trump is a bitch on this. Their peso is up today. http://www.wsj.com/articles/dollar-stal … 1485528941

After he talked to Trump. Why are you so against admitting that the US is the dominant power and we're capable of throwing our weight around. Mexico and the US aren't equal. So why pretend they are?
