Got to say I'm not really digging what Slash is doing to the Chinese solos, with the exception of CD (which I suppose he plays near verbatim). His Better and TIL solos don't come close to Robin. Nothing wrong with doing it your way, but you still have to hit the important notes.
Could be sound quality, could be lack of practice. Not feeling it at the moment though.

I do like the Better intro though and the overall sound of the tracks (especially Chinese Democracy while listening to one of the audio versions posted), the solo's though just don't fit. This I Love, yes it's a good solo (2nd night more so), but it doesn't belong in that song. Same with Better to a lesser extent.

Wow night and day to my opinion.
I'm unsure about the Better solo until I hear it more (liked the new intro) but I'll grant robin's outro had a good melody.
However to me that TIL solo is so many lightyears better than Robin...and not just for shredding...the way the whole solo just builds up....it's great.

GIBBO is the man! That was so badass! Check out the better and brownstone clips. You can hear all this cool little shit in the intro to better and on Brownstone you can hear the bongos.
