Re: Secret show: April 1, L.A.?
Could we please get the set-list added to the first post to make it easier for searching archive history?

This is glorious and I want it to be true – one guy's story of how he blagged his way into the Troubadour gig with the help of a green napkin and Michelle Rodriguez:

Re: Secret show: April 1, L.A.?
I was just curious why people are excited about racial diversity in the band.
That's an automatic response these days.
I think we've got a lot of young 'uns around here that just don't remember the absolutely fucking shit GN'R went through post-OIAM.
I think my point was TOTALLY MISSED.
I'm sorry I brought it up. I think people just forget how many people labeled GN'R the "White Supremacists" favorite band, and the media played it up, and unfortunately it brought alot of the wrong type of people to the shows by 1991. Think of St. Louis.
I just find it ironic that in 2016 the band looks like a meeting of the United Nations... yet they were supposed to be so racist and Axl and his Confederate flag jackets.
That's what I was trying to get at. I want to know where all of those media members were back in 1989-1992 that were slamming them. Where they at.
And yes... there was someone who brought up the White Priveledge bullshit the other day.
It's a good thing GN'R just keeps their mouth shut, doesn't grant alot (if any) interviews, and just circumvents the corporate media by doing their own media. Kudos on Team Brazil (for once.)
