Punk as mother fucker I guaran dam tee you thought some 80's virtuoso played Slash's lead parts.  Fuck him.  That bullshit rumor came from little jealous fucks that can't beleive he played that Paradise City outro solo or SCOM.

Wait. What? Is that a thing? If so, I've never ever heard that rumor. Or is that just the host guessing that Slash didn't play his own leads.

(BTW, it's obviously 21 on the record)

There was a girl I knew in high school, who loathed GN'R, and I remember her telling me that once that because of how Slash was such a sloppy guitarist live, that other musos actually recorded GN'R's studio material... I couldn't believe it then, and I still don't believe it now! 14

I loved Niven's response to that as well! 5

Interesting. Watched a little so far before I pass out. Seems Alan's memory is a tad different than Axl's about the summer of 91. Gonna finish this up tomorrow. Got a bout an hour and change left. Good listen. Thanks Aussie.

Wow, he really lays it out there and I don't think he has any reason to lie. The hosts get on my nerves. Crack on November Rain and Estranged. Even Coma. Those songs are epic.

Cliff notes:
He (Alan) pulled a ballsy move for GNR to get a renegotiated contract
Slash is a kind good person that stands for stuff.  Good family man.  Nice
Axl has a spaghetti brain.  Doesn't stand for anything.  Narcacist.
Axl wanted to tour the Illusions albums, says his recent comments are bullshit
Slash and Duff and Izzy where who he met with on business matters.  Axl was never around.
Axl was fucked up at the ritz show, a great GNR moment
Civil War was brilliant stuff writting by Axl.  Right Next Door to Hell was pure shit
Great White was originally supposed to close the Ritz show, Alan told them to let GNR close
Rolling Stones should release a country album
GNR deserved more royalty than Don Henley
Paradise City video cost $250,000 to shoot.
NR was like 1.2 million.
