I've heard you say that before and I agree and disagree at the same time.

It gives me more confidence in the tune to hear others say that though. Sometimes I really get into the tune and think it could've been a big hit, but then I think it's probably just me thinking so.

Said it years ago but I'll say it again.....If the World was a borderline Simply Red tune. Had the track been marketed towards the easy listening crowd I do think it would have done some damage on those charts.
