I got that impression as well after watching footage of the Japan shows in 09 of Axl trying to sing that song. He did great; but I knew he was struggling with all those vocal changes and high notes. Like you guys, I would love to hear ITW busted out again. One of the stronger tracks on CD.

One last thing on Shackler's, I love watching it being played live when it's shown on youtube. The band including
kills it! Also I can only sing that song on Medium difficulty on RB2.
I can sing all of the Chinese songs on Expert/Hard. So

I wish they'd release those Asian shows from O9.

I've heard you say that before and I agree and disagree at the same time.
It gives me more confidence in the tune to hear others say that though. Sometimes I really get into the tune and think it could've been a big hit, but then I think it's probably just me thinking so.
I will say though that I have a friend who's a very, very casual fan of GN'R and she's heard Chinese once through (that I know of) and to this day she remembers ITW.
Yeah I played "If the World" for a friend once when it leaked and she said she loved it and asked where she could get it. Since it wasn't released at the time, and the album's release date coincided with her birthday I told her I'd buy her the album and send it to her. Anyway, she also enjoyed Street of Dreams quite a bit. Actually she sent me a song by song review and the reviews were positive. Only problem is, the reviews stopped after Street of Dreams, and I don't hear from her much anymore. She did say there was one song she hated on the album but I never found out which one.
