I actually like that Matt's not afraid to give it back to them a little.

For example at RRHOF where in front of Slash and Duff he said it was BS that Adler was fired for drug use by a band of junkies and not given a warning.

Likewise, he respects Axl's talent, but he calls it as he sees it regarding walkouts and stuff like that. He clearly thought the name issue was shit too.

He called Paul out on disrespecting Slash....and he admits to his own asshole behaviour with groupies and stuff.

I think he's one of the few straight talking guys in GNR.

Axl tells the truth but he has unique perception and doesn't talk much anyway.

Slash says what he can without ruining the business side of things, forgoing a chance at a reunion or looking like a dick in front of his kids.

Duff is always guarded.

Matt is the guy to actually spill some dirt IMO.

Duff goes around diplomatically talking about people having their "own truth"...I have a feeling Matt would cut thriygh that shit pretty quickly.

Many of us are STARVING for more info on what it was really like on the UYI tours..Matt could be the man to give it to us.
