Listened to album in full again today during a long hungover drive home from a party last night, and the album still kicks all sorts of ass!
Kinda helped me feel better from the hangover too

I really enjoyed the album! 
I got a few weeks ago with some other new music. I ran it on my crappy laptop that kept messing with the CD at times. Overall, I love the sound of Slash's playing. I agree it's his best playing in a long time and alot of songs have a strong punk, Appetite kind of feel. Myles was in top form vocally and I thought his change in tone on certain songs flowed well. I think he did better on the fast rockers like Love, Lie, One Last Thrill, Halo and No More Heroes. I was impressed with Anastasia too. The drumming was loud and mean. Todd was great with the choruses and the bass lines synced within the songs. It wasn't groundbreaking though. Not the best rock album of 2012. Still love the new Van Halen album better folks! Overall, I applaud Slash for making a great rock album and I can't wait to hear what see has in store with the future either with Myles, instrumental stuff or with a new VR concept.
