HD DVD is fucked...
i still think that the PS3 dropping prices coupled with XBOX 360 being shitty quality, and crapping out on alot of people, played a major role in the demise of the HD DVD
If Microsoft had built the HD DVD player into the Xbox 360, HD DVD would have more players (it still out-sells the PS3) and consequently a similar amount of sales right now. Anyway, it's definitely over now with Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Netflix all favoring Blu-ray.

I've been in love with my BD player for several weeks and that's when I've been playing it through a 27" HD.... I cannot imagine how much more I'm going to love it tomorrow when I bring the 40" home.
What kind of player do you have?

Cos i use front projection my screen is insane at home...probably why i'm always single...girls don't want as much hifi junk around the house!

my DVD player jst crapped out...so now i gotta decide what to do 
thing is my TV isnt HD so i cant even play Blu-Ray anyway unless i totally upgrade my setup 
i called to get my DVD player fixed and the guy told me $150 for parts alone...i can get a new player for $60 how the fuck does that make any sense
