Izzy is most important cause it gives Axl a way out of doing any kind of performance, cause he can always point to Izzy not being there and if it isn't gonna be a true reunion, why do it?
that way he isn't completely mangled in the press.

Izzy reunited with Axl already and it was just a footnote in the media.
Slash and Axl would create the fireworks.
Izzy is great and played a huge roll in the songwriting, but in terms of onstage performance of AFD and UYI he wasn't needed in 1992 and he isn't needed now for the general public to be happy with their GNR line up. Only Axl and Slash is required for that.

Me personally i'd like Duff there, and Izzy...but yeah to the average punter they want to see the Tokyo dvds.

At this point, playing at RRHOF is highly unlikely and here's why:
1) Izzy and/or Axl not even attending
2) Slash says Axl hates his guts
3) Axl's likely unwillingness to play
4) 15 years of distance between the band
Theirs too many obstacles to overcome in too little amount of time. If Slash could of kept his mouth shut I think scenarios 1, 3, and 4 could be nullified but Slash can't keep his mouth shut and hope for the best
