I'd take that bet. I think Axl will be there. In the interview he did, he said he recognised it was important for the fans. Will he play? Now that's a whole different story. If I had to bet I'd say he won't. I don't think he'll talk to slash or anything too.

Just to clarify;
My definition of "show up" is just that; Axl is in the building, not performing etc etc.
Yeah just has to stand up on the stage and accept the award i hope i lose

Again, nothing harbors on the them playing for me. It will be a HUGE even more meaningful moment if Slash and Axl are actually there together.

If I get enough drinks in me, that could happen. A performance would obviously be great, but we'll have to settle for the speeches. Hopefully they're worthwhile.
I wonder, if they don't perform, which all signs point to, will someone else perform in their place? Why not get Myles to get up there and play with Ron, DJ, Richard, Tommy, Frank, Chris, and Dizzy? I kid of course. But seriously, they usually do some sort of performance, don't they? Like VR stepping in for VH for that debacle.
