Dropped to 19th sold just around 12,700 copies
still near 50k after 2 weeks. not terrible. if it could hit 100k, that would certainly be a huge success considering he reaps most of the profit.
u figure 100k financially is probably like selling 2 million back then.

Might be exaggerating..but the artist share of retail is like 8% for new acts....then they loose that until their cut has fully paid back any advances and recording costs....so it takes a shit load to see any money back then.
These days slash owns his label so gets most of the share.

Yeah, isn't the "formula" usually to release a 2nd single shortly after the album is released? I guess they still have some time, and I suppose as long as "You're A Lie" is still doing well, it isn't a huge rush. But I think it's time to pull the trigger on the next single as well.

I'm actually just starting to warm up to it, but you would think a new single would be on the horizon. Again though, I guess as long as the single is doing well, there's no real urgency.
