You cannot win an election riding on the college vote. Its too fickle. I don't mean anything bad by that, but they are not guaranteed to vote when it counts, and are more likely to switch allegiance when push comes to shove.

i just overheard that there is a bit of a gender gap as well

Yeah, the Reagan lovers and Clinton lovers hate to hear it, but there are similarities between their presidencies. Obviously they were different, but wound up with similar results. The reason is because both men had strong visions of this country being an economic powerhouse, so we seen two of the biggest economic booms not just in US history, but world history as well.

The two Bushes to have the office after their presidencies had zero vision, and only had war and recession as their legacy. Daddy Bush tore down what Reagan had built up, and baby Bush tore down what Clinton had built up.

Yeah, its looking like what happened in Iowa was an anomaly.

The media jumped on the Obama bandwagon WAY too soon, and Obama bought into the hype and was predicting double digit wins.

James I'm surprised you're not one to say that Clinton caused the economic problems of W's presidency. Or even that Clinton benefitted from HW's delayed economic action.

I want someone that won't invoke Christianity in all issues. Or suggest that God is helping us kill people. That pisses me off so much about Bush. 'God is on our side' . I can't stand it.

So in other words, you don't live in a democracy.:haha:

Yeah, these primaries will decide who runs for president in each party. Whichever candidate gets the most delegates(the number is different in each state) gets their party's nomination.

The "blame Clinton for Bush's problems" tactic is one of the lamest excuses I've heard in my life, and I've seen it used by Bush's base periodically over the years.

While the dot com crash did play a role in the down turn, Bush's policies were devastating to this nation's economy. Other things during Clinton's era like NAFTA played a role, but Bush loved that and had no problem outsourcing us into oblivion.

Bush's tax cuts are going to be seen as a major reason for this country's demise. He enacted massive tax cuts while increasing spending on a MASSIVE scale and creating the biggest government bureaucracy  in history.

He's not even really a republican. In reality he's a democrat that cuts taxes for the rich, speaks to God, and loves war.

Its just been announced that Hillary has won NH. This is huge. She is on the comeback, and her candicacy which was thought dead is alive and kicking.

It also shows how the media inflated the Obama surge, and he is not the threat he was supposed to be. Don't forget-- he was supposed to win NH by double digits. He's gonna wind up losing by a few percentage points. Big difference.

It also shows a huge percentage of independents voted for Hillary, which is a serious blow to the republicans. If these primaries continually have Independents voting 60% for democrats, the general election is already over. To use a sports analogy, its like how the AFC title game is considered the real Superbowl. These Democractic primaries may be the real election.
