I'd have to agree, this is kind of strange.

WHITNEYS FUNERAL TO BE STREAMED ONLINE
By Sally Bailey
The digital media is wonderful for countless reasons. But is anything sacred? Whitney Houstons funeral service on Saturday will be streamed online.
New Hope Baptist Church in Newark will host a single camera inside the building to capture the funeral service for the world to see. Close members of Houstons family and friends circle will be subjected to sharing their grief with strangers. Three words for this, wrong and broken. It is all very well to give fans that did not know her an opportunity to feel like they are a part of the service, however this sentiment may have been better served by a memorial service post funeral as in the case of Michael Jackson. The point is, fans and gawkers were not close to the person, they may have loved her music or believed fanatically that they knew her personally but at the end of the day the service should be left private for those that loved and knew her best.
In the meantime subpoenas have been issued for Houstons medical records. Officers investigating her death were prompted to do so with the discovery of prescription medication found in her hotel room.

What is?
Streaming a funeral online. Seems like it should be a private event. Who knows though, they televised it and a lot of people seemed to enjoy it.
Morbid curiosity. It's one of our favorite things to do as a society.

Whitney Houston Death Cocktail Revealed
by Paul Cashmere
Whitney Houston died from a mixture of Valium, Xanax and alcohol, the coroner’s report will reveal.
Fox News obtained a preliminary report and has reported the cocktail of drugs and alcohol was the most likely cause of the death of Whitney Houston.
Final toxicology results will pinpoint the exact cause of death but the coroner confirms that the sedatives and alcohol combined is most likely the cause of death, not drowning.
Whitney Houston was found submerged in the bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, just hours before she was to perform for Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party.
The combination of the drugs and alcohol would have caused her heart to stop beating because of a supressed respiratory system.
The final report will reveal which of the drugs was the major contributor to her death.

I thought Houston was known for years for been a shit live singer?
OH no.. she was money live also.
Youtube her I Will Always Love You From Grammys
Beautiful. I heard the song on the radio a week or two ago & noticed there was no studio work at all done to her voice. Songs now by Pink, Rhianna, Beyonce, Brittney etc are all auto tuned, fixed, pitched etc. You can tell that song is completely honest. Amazing, and refreshing.

Not shocking. A very common way to die for a lot of people.
