A License To Drive sequel could've worked too. Haim was working on one called "License To Fly". Nice budget, adapted to a modern life (wife & kids, instead of parents)... that one could've worked.
The rest are strictly reboot territory.
A Breakfast Club sequel would be so Disney-trashed today that you'd have Miley Cyrus playing Ally Sheedy's role, Ashley Greene in Molly Ringwald's role, and Zac Efron playing Judd Nelson's role. It'd be a walking joke.
Did anyone catch those Lost Boys sequels? Fucking terrible.
