What I got from this interview is this. Axl seems opened to the possibility of playing with the old lineup for the Hall of fame and he would do it for the fans but not beyond that. He's still pissed at Slash for whatever reason. There's no new record nowhere near in site. Beta and Fernando are now officially managing GNR and that my friends is probably one of the worst moves Axl could've pulled. I think this pretty much sums it up.

I gotta say, in regards to Axl's entire manner of speaking: it's SUPER confusing. Seriously, I have no doubt he gets dicked over by sleazeballs in the industry, but there has to have been a few times where Axl said or heard something through the filter of Axl-speak, and then got a surprise when he either misunderstood someone or was misunderstood BY someone.
I mean, the comments over past lineups: what's he saying about the Appetite guys? What's he saying about the UYI guys? Is is because he doesn't like them, because he acknowledges it wouldn't be the "true" reunion lineup that, if it's gonna happen, should happen right? Is he worried FOR Steven, or OF him still?
When he goes dark for long periods of time, that alone fuels enough speculation to keep this board alive. But when he speaks, it never seems to clear up any confusion- the threads get even longer with us trying to parse wtf he meant.
We should all go work for the CIA as cryptographers- any one of us has had more than enough field experience by now.

nvrmnd axl-speak. when beta says axl is "more than a son" to her is that woman-speak, & confirmation, they're fucking/together??

There is way more to songwriting than Lyrics,melodies and chord progressions. Most people don't realize that.
Should Queen drummer not get credit for We Will Rock You? Prob most famous drum riff of all time?
Well… no. Because 1) it's not played on drums, it's foot-stamps and hand-claps, and 2) he didn't write the song, Brian May did.
And looking to royalty statements tells you fuck-all, incidentally - Queen always credited their songs to all four members of the band in the 80s, to prevent disputes about royalties tearing the band apart. I'd imagine GN'R did a similar thing, hence the songs being credited to all the core members.

Pitman means more to GNR than what 99% of us know.
He didn't seem all that important to me on AFD, LIES, or the Illusionsand his contriubutions to CD are so minimal he could be taken out and nobody would care. Like Guns N' Roes ceases to function without Chris PItman or that they coudldn't write a good song without him. Honestlyt he most inconsequential member in the history of Guns. And no i dont' consider Teddy Zig Zag or Tracy and Roberta members of the band
