yeah not everyone has the same freedom though...maybe his boss is a bastard, maybe he didnt want to use a vacation day on a concert...maybe he already used all his vacation days before the show was even announced...i mean most people go on holiday in the summer so by fall/winter there are no holidays left

the arena was jam packed for the Foo Fighters show I saw last week and it ended by midnight and nobody of notice left and the crowd was screaming for more at the end. Funny how a normal start time can in fact increase the overall vibe of a show. Would be nice if Axl could figure this out some day.
I mean god damn as great as the show was that I saw in 2010 the crowd had had enough by the time the encore rolled on and the building was half empty after being almost full to begin with. I can't speak for other gigs but this is in fact how it went down in Calgary 2010. the crowd tried of the show despite how awesome it was.
Yes WE the online fans get it, that's how it is but despite some of your belifes that the general public does research on the bands they are going to see, the late start times will ALWAYS be a problem for a large number of people. People still wanna see Guns N' Roses but if we expect everyone to take the next day off work they'd have 300 people showing up for their gigs and if we expect people who need to leave early or who don't appreciate the late start times to not show up period we'd have 100 people showing up for Gn'R gigs. peope leaving early at a Guns N' Roses show does not make them stupid or a hater or anything other than someon who just wants to leave. The late start times are what they are but life is also life and as much as we'd like to belive it does, life does not revolve around a Guns N' Roses concert for most people.

Yeah I've never been a fan of all those solos.
I hate solos in general. If it isn't Slash doing God Father or Tommy Lee doing a crazy drum thing, or Watching Kiss... Solos generally are boring and suck.
I didn't go cause I now live 3 and a half hours from Atlanta.. and no way I was driving home after that. If it did start earlier, i may have though.

"I" liked the show, but "everyone" in that place cringed when DJ put the cigarette at the end of his guitar, pulled out the gold top, etc... Its just a lil too much... One of the guitars looked just like his Appetite Sig model. I am just noting what people were saying, and most were like, "that dude is trying too hard to act like slash".
My friend thought Axl sounded fine, but, didn't like all the BS instrumentals (that aren't that entertaining) that made the show DRAG on forever... I left at 2:00 am, madagas, am I right with my time here? Anyway, good show overall! Really was...
Umm that's really strange, 'cause the Orlando crowd cheered when DJ did that.
They must hate Slash then based on that logic.

Hmm that's strange, I never remember one person saying the name "Slash". I do remember alot of people rocking out though and cheering DJ.
I do remember at the Slash show alot of people booing Myles and screaming "where's Axl" 'cause he sucked so badly, and works an audience like shit.
